Job Description

The ERP Implementation Consultant will be responsible for helping to assist clients in both pre and post sale environments. This position will be responsible for training, implementation, and integration services for customers of Compiere. Working with the rest of the Professional Services Team, you will quickly assess customer implementation needs, develop innovative plans to solve their problems, and implement these plans to the customer's satisfaction.

Required skills/experience/education

The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years experience in ERP Implementation consulting in either a functional or technical role.

The candidate should have an excellent understanding of common industry business practices related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing), Inventory Management (Purchasing and Fulfillment), Sales Force Automation (Returns, Team Selling), Marketing Campaigns and Web presence (Net or ECommerce, Shopping carts, Web site layout) as well as Support (Cases Management and Territory Management).

Successful candidates should have demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable world class business solutions. Candidates should have excellent client management skills and be able to work with customers to execute on an implementation plan.

Experience with financial accounting, customer management, and sales force automation software preferred. Previous consulting experience with the following applications is an indicator of success at Compiere: QuickBooks, Great Plains, SalesForce.com, Upshot, ACT, Goldmine, MAS 90, Siebel, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards. Working knowledge of and experience using XML, Java, JavaScript, HTML, Crystal and SQL is desirable. Compiere experience a plus.

The successful candidate must have a passion for helping small and mid-sized businesses as well as larger Fortune 1000 companies find creative ways to use Compiere to more effectively run their businesses.

Travel

This position is based in our Redwood Shores, CA office and overnight travel will be required for this position. Estimated travel is 2 to 3 trips per month.

Sales Manager, Authorized Partner Channel, Americas & Asia Pacific

Job Description

You'll be responsible for all revenue provided by Compiere's Authorized Partner Channel in your region. This role's primary goal is to generate new Compiere subscription revenue via your partners. Your quota will also include revenue from partner fees, training, subscription renewals, and database sales through your partner channel.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain your revenue goal
  • Generate and maintain a territory plan
  • Update Compiere's CRM system with accurate, timely information and deliver weekly pipeline reviews to your management team
  • Grow your partner channel via recruiting new partners
  • Respond to and qualify incoming phone and web requests to join Compiere's partner network
  • Both individually and in conjunction with Compiere’s marketing team generate and distribute leads to your partners
  • Both individually and by coordinating with the team at Compiere provide your partners with the support they need to grow their Compiere revenue
  • Coach and mentor your partners as appropriate - some will be sophisticated, have a longer-term track record of success and not need this service, while others will strongly benefit from your skills in this area
  • Co-sell opportunities with your partners as appropriate.

Required skills/experience/education

  • Five years of quota-exceeding sales experience
  • Business applications sales experience
  • Start-up company experience
  • Excellent written / verbal communication skills
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Knowledge of Compiere's primary end markets, Distribution and Services, a plus.
  • Open source applications experience a plus
  • Fluency in any additional major worldwide language beyond English a plus

Compensation

Your compensation will include a base, commission payable on a quarterly basis and equity options.

Location and Travel

These roles are located at Compiere's Redwood Shores, CA headquarters. We anticipate travel will be minimal.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer to further improve the quality of our ERP application. The successful candidate will execute many of the day-to-day tasks essential in supporting a production system, not only monitoring the process but also testing the product. Our services are in production with many high profile customers and we require frequent quick-turnaround releases as well as periodic major releases. Flexibility, acute attention to detail, technical savvy and willingness to build QA collateral and execute test coverage in each and every release is vital for this role. The right candidate will be able to coordinate the appropriate level of testing with both an on-site and offshore test team and ensure testing best practices are followed. This is also a customer facing role as you will help in addressing support issues as well. You are a consultative problem solver. You listen carefully and ask questions and apply good judgment to diagnose and help resolve complex customer questions and issues while generating a high level of customer satisfaction with each interaction.

You have strong analytical skills and the proven ability to research, analyze and determine an appropriate course of action for customer issues. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to modify your communication style to meet customer needs. You are knowledgeable regarding relevant operating systems and have good hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
